You desperately need help, but that is my condition too. We are both desperate. It does no good to attempt to help yourself. We are both too weak. Our weakness is physical and spiritual. This leaves no room for do it yourself action. We need help to live our lives. Help in making decisions. Help with our health. Help in relationships, at work, to be truthful, with all things. There is no intent to insult you by this. But if we are honest we know it. We cannot live life on our own strength.DSC_0048_593sig

Where does help come from?

Look up

Gaze at the ancient hills formed by God’s hands.

Consider your life. You are surrounded by trouble and trial.

Admit you have no true strength.

Admit you need help-every moment.

Fix your eyes on the hills, ponder the majesty and power seen in them. The ocean, prairies, forests, the desert, even the sky works too. Fix your eyes.

Stop struggling,

realize our help comes from God.

He made all our eyes can see outside.

He also made what you see in the mirror.

Need help? Perfect help?

God is our perfect help-forever.DSC_0007_577sig

I look up to the hills, but where will my help really come from? My help will come from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth. He will not let you fall. Your Protector will not fall asleep. Psalm 121:1-3DSC_0053_596sig

What does a grandfather, husband, former public school teacher and Education Specialist for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service with many life experiences in nature do with them? A naturalist with a camera-makes outside a daily destination. My confidence is that God will guide my words, and photos. We live in a magnificent world, come and look at it with me through eyes, lens and words. To God be the glory. Current Profile Photo- Prickly Ash, the name summarizes this brushy undergrowth well. It fascinates me with its thorny branches. Seeing a vine wrapped around the trunk called for a photo.
